Taylor Crook
Co-Founder and Managing Partner, Match Vertical Partners, Creator of the Vitality Index
Taylor Crook is the co-founder of Match Vertical Partners and the creator of the Vitality Index, a strategic account growth system for B2B sales organizations. He built the system to solve the hardest problem of his 30-year sales career: transferring his own success as a top producer to the reps he led.
My Story
For 30 years, Taylor Crook sold for a global industry leader in the Allegis Group family, where he was a top sales producer building 9-figure account portfolios from zero. He won the best accounts, beat the competition, and hit forecast consistently. When he moved into sales leadership, those results were hard to replicate in others, and hiring and training investments left the gap in place.

The breakthrough came when he named the strategies, planning, and processes underneath his own results and turned them into a system his teams could run. His teams started producing wins like his, eventually generating 5x the revenue he ever produced on his own.

After leaving his corporate career, Taylor and co-founder Gina Gauna codified their 30 years of strategic sales leadership, working side by side, into the Vitality Index. Today their company, Match Vertical Partners, gives revenue leaders a system built to scale key accounts. In 2025, 78% of B2B sellers missed quota (Ebsta, 2025 GTM Benchmarks Report). Taylor believes no leader should have to bank on a few people or a few accounts each quarter to hit their number. In his words: "Companies can better predict success if their growth system shows them the way." The Vitality Index works like a GPS: it maps the future of each key account and gives step-by-step directions any B2B account team can run.

Taylor's leadership earned national and regional awards, including Director of the Year and Most Valuable Player, and his teams earned Supplier of the Year in multiple national programs. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, with a concentration in Accounting, from The Citadel, and lives in Charleston, South Carolina with his wife Susan and their two children, Matthew and CeCe.
